# Mission: UI/UX Design

## Why
Communicate technical BI concepts (data modeling, semantic layers, ETL) visually to prospects and teammates. Replace walls of text with clear visual explanations they grasp in seconds.

## Success looks like
- Can name and use core design concepts (hierarchy, proximity, contrast, typography, whitespace) with precise terminology
- Can critique any visualization with a working vocabulary
- Can produce a clear visual diagram of a BI mechanism that a non-technical person grasps in seconds
- Maintains and extends a personal design glossary as reference

## Constraints
- Zero formal design training
- Learning is entirely self-directed with agent guidance
- Primary use case: technical communication and explanation, not production UI design
- Holistics-specific context matters — BI tool concepts are the primary subject to explain

## Out of scope
- Production-grade UI implementation (CSS, component libraries)
- Brand identity design
- Illustration or fine art
- Frontend engineering
